Tony Tourell Memorial Golf Tournament

Today we went to the Clinton Golf Course to play in a golf competition with Clutha Valley School. We played 9 holes. We drove the balls towards the green, then we would chip our balls from whomever's ball was closest to the green we would then put it into the hole. Lachie got a ball for being the best in the team we all got a Maxfli golf ball for winning the competition. Thank you to Hamish McCallum for transporting and supervising us this morning.

Lachie, Brayden, Alex and James.

On the last day of winter, we went to the Clinton Golf Club for the tournament held in memory of Tony Tourell. We had a really fun time even though we lost.

Holly got nominated for the best player in the team, for getting good drives, 3 holes and carrying the bag. Koben put his ball in the creek, Koben kept on hitting the ball off track and hitting the ground. David also hit the ground a lot. Ashley put it down a big BIG ditch and David had to get it out. It took at least 3 maybe, 4 times to hit it out.

Thank you to Mrs Dalley for transporting and supervising us throughout the tournament, we really appreciate it.

  1. Tena Koutou. It sounds like you had heaps of fun. Our students had their golf tournament on the first day of spring. The kind of game you played is called "Scramble".
