Morning Programme Topic Descriptions

Current Events	Present news in your own words from the newspaper, Internet, t.v. or radio that has been shared at home. Think about Who was involved?  What happened? When did it happen? Why did it happen? Where did it happen? and How did it happen? REMEMBER TO USE YOUR OWN WORDS
Camp Memory/Experience	Share something you enjoyed from camp and why you enjoyed that particular event/activity.
Joke	Find a joke online or from your parents. Please make sure it is an appropriate joke and there are no swear words or rude meanings to your jokes.
Olympics Appreciation	With Rio 2016 happening this term I wanted you to delve further into the olympics. This includes all sports people, sports, coaches etc. It does not have to be a person from New Zealand (but would be good if it was.) You could show us a video of your chosen person in action. Things they do to inspire others, what they do when they aren’t doing their job as a sports person. You might make a wee presentation to go with your presentation like a PicCollage or iTrailer. Olympics Website or you can download the NZ Olympics App on the iPads. There’s lots of information on there!!
President/Prime Minister for the day	Tell the class what you would do if you were president/prime minister for the day. What policies (rules) would you bring in and why? Who would you want to work with you.
Magic Trick	Could be a card trick, an illusion trick. Have a look on YouTube for tips and videos to help you if you are stuck.
Book Review	You can share one of your book reviews from the 30 BOOK CHALLENGE. You might like to read your favourite passage from the book too.
Teach Me	Teach the class how to do something new. Limit of 5 minutes to do this if you are getting the class to do it.
My Choice	Bring along ANYTHING that you would like to share with the class.
