Careers Speaker- Kayleigh Broad

Today we were lucky enough to have Kayleigh Broad come in and talk to us about her career in the performing arts! It was great to hear about the variety of aspects there are to Kayleigh's career. Kayleigh studied at the Water Front Theatre School in South Africa. She studied part time for two years and full time for 4 years. Kayleigh's time the Theatre School was very full on, it wasn't only a lot of theory work but it was also very physically demanding. From Monday to Saturday she would study from 9:00am until 9:00pm most days. Kayleigh said her job is very rewarding but to achieve at a high standard you have to work very hard and persevere.
